SECURITY CRITICAL MODIFICATION

Since system version V610, improvement of machine internal security.
Particularly when tuning, updating and bolting ECUs.
No parasite software or data can be inserted.

 

 CRITICAL MODIFICATION OF OPERATION

Since system version V500 and so on this new one:
It is mandatory to execute again the Top Dead Center Mark calibration
• on changing from Hall effect RPM or phase sensor to an inductive one, or vice versa.
• on importing a tuning from a version older than V500 using an Hall effet RPM or phase sensor
To avoid engine destruction if the recalibration of the TDCM has been forgotten when using a Hall sensor, Winjall does not import Hall sensor type when updating new Tunewares (since V500) with old Tunewares (former than V500).
In this case, sensors stay on inductive type, and the engine will not start if it owns one or two Hall effect sensors.

e imam jedno pitanje na koje nemogu odgonetnu odgovor.
Mapira jedan auto s sybele 4 i sve super. Auto nekih 200HP i 350cc injektori.
I sredim cijelu mapu goriva i slazem mapu paljena na punom gasu. I tako 5puta zavrtim auto na dynu i ljepo se snaga povecava s dodavanjem paljenja.
I odjednom u 6. runu na nekih 4300rpm nestane goriva(lambda oko 1.1) i padne drasticno snaga. I ispostavi se da nedostaje oko 28% goriva.
Prvo mislio da pumpa zeza, pa mjerili pritisak benzina i sve ok(i po opterecenjem). Nist dodam ja svugde u mapi 28% goriva i opet mapa super.
Zavrsimo auto, ima konja i nakon 2dana opet pocne faliti 28% goriva. I opet kada se doda 28% na mapu je sve ok.
E sad ono sto me muci, zasto odjednom auto ostane bez 28% goriva. A druga stvar, sad je mapa goriva tolko povecana da ispada da su injektori vec na nekih 5000rpm 100% otvoreni, sto nije slucaj(jer auto s 350cc injektorima na 5000rpm bi dimio kao kuga), a vrti se do 9000rpm.

Imas ideju sto se dogada?

Tko je ozicio instalciju od sybela? da li je to sve propisno? i dali je zadnju update stavljen kao i spremanje mapa. update masine kompletno?
moze biti bilo sto do kompjutera nije.
Te problema moze uzrokvati ozicenje tj postvaljanje instalcije..
spojeva map senzora it...

jamcim ti da je neka greska u hardveru,a moze se analizirati i preko sucelja tj zakljuciti sto je.

Postojao je jedan problem davno cca 3 god ali ja nisam postavljao nista na taj motor sem sto sam imao mapiranje na cesti... vrlo malo.
prvi put tko je postavljao instalaciju usljed toga cak je izgorio jedan izlaz za injktore... duga prica.

Meni se nesto slicno desilo na Vemsu...ovako na 2.0 16vt Fiat, paljenje je kao neko mapirao a ja ga nisam htio dirati na cesti, pa sam radio samo mapu goriva i tako dodemo do 1bara, i trazi cca 200 onih jedinica u podrucju od 3500-5000rpm, i uglavnom cijela mapa kako mi se cinila je izgledala cudno s obzirom na povecanje obrtaja i tlaka jel je trazila vise manje iste brojeve, uglavnom po Wb sondi sve pokriveno auto ide odlicno s obzirom na samo 1bar trim 60 turbine, ajmo reci iznenadujuce i tako jos malo se vozimo i samo kontroliramo i pocne se gusiti u gorivu i stalno prebogato, i ja smanjim sve do 170jedinica na 1 baru auto se negusi ali neide, i pomislio sam da je nesto izaslo iz faze, bregasta, rpm senzor...ali sve uredu a razlog padu potraznji goriva nemogu naci...kopao po vemsu da nema nesto ukljuceno da bi radilo takvo nesto i nisam mogao naci, posto neznam raditi na vems, a vlasnik nema za platiti nekom mapiranje, najjednostavniji naci je bilo prodati vems i kupiti ecu (alat) s kojim znam radit!

uglavnom ovo mi ostala misterija, a barem cu sad na Iaw vidit sta se desava...

Nego imam pitanje za Vems, jel nigdje u programu nema za prebaciti iz onih jedinica 0-255 u ms ili stupnjeve radilice, ili kako se to preracuna u navedeno i sto te jedinice predstavljaju?

nema. Jer to je bas VE tablica motora. Znaci ako ti oces promjeniti lambdu s 0.9 na 0.8 samo promijenis lamba target tablicu i imas tocnu tu smijesu koju oces(normalno ako si VE dobro zmapirao).
A druga stvar sto je tu dobro da napamet mozes napraviti VE mapu za skoro bilo koji auto. VE se krece od 60% u leru do nekih 118-120% u boostu di je najveci moment. Sve izvan toga je nesto krivo podesno.
A posto si imao vrijednosti VE oko 200, to znaci da si krivo injektore odabrao ili iskljucio povecanje goriva s boostom.
A na gorivo ti mogu dosta opcija utjecati, ima ih sigurno preko 10. I jos anytrim tablice...

Chal6_ENU-1.1.0.1.zip

WARNING LEVEL : Normal

A bug has been fixed in Winjall dll for Challenger6. This present version only changes the dll in PC and does not modify the Challenger6 V110 Tunewares (ECU software).
This bug did not allow standard licenses to enable the CAN-BUS communication with dashboards. While it did not affect professional licenses, it is still advisable to the owners of these licenses to intall this version.

 

NEW FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS

Ignition:
• Allows the use of coil loading time extremely short (<500 microseconds) for very high efficiency coils or capacitive discharges
• Allows a better load of the coils at engine startup

Fly by wire:
• Allowed stop of the fly by wire command below a tuneable rpm, to avoid spikes at the engine start with inductive sensors and save power when the engine does not run
• Allowed stop of the fly by wire command if engine stalls, to avoid spikes with inductive sensors and and allow the automatic cutoff of the fuel pump

Fuel pressure management:
Improvement of calculations for injection time correction in function of the fuel pressure (see documentation 'Fuel pressure management' chapter 'Fuel pressure reference').
• The fuel pressure reference, in case of specific calculations for injection time correction in function of the fuel pressure, is now given in pressure relative to atmospheric pressure and no more in absolute pressure.
• If you import the data from an old Tuneware with which the injection time was corrected by the low fuel pressure (not direct injection management), in this old Tuneware, the fuel pressure reference was given in absolute pressure. So you will have to correct the fuel low pressure reference in the new Tuneware.

CHALLENGER5 ECU SOFTWARE


The Challenger5 is an engine management ECU with a very high computing power.
It is specifically made for atmospheric as well as turbocharged racing engines, 1, 2 or 4-cylinder.

WARNING LEVEL : Special

This version fixes a BUG in version V130 (downloadable from July 9th to 31st 2013).
In V130, the injection command is not correct and does not follow the tuning given by the injection time map: It is impossible to tune the engine.

V130 should never be used and is replaced by this new V140.

Note that this problem in no way affects versions prior to V130.

SENSORS CONVERSION MAPS AND ACTUATORS COMMAND MAPS


This software pack contents the sensors conversion maps and the actuators command maps like motorized throttles, gasoline injectors corrections, ...
It is mandatory to install it to select the type of sensor and actuators that are equiping the ECUs, because these maps are not integrated in the ECUs software packs.
