Ontronic is a 32-bit programmable electronic fuel injection and ignition engine management system (EMS) for racing applications, that allows the user full control over fuel and ignition to gain maximum performance and reliability from their motor vehicle. The Ontronic engine control unit (ECU) can be implemented on any engines from 1 to 12 cylinders, naturally aspirated or supercharged, phased (fully sequential up to 8 cylinders) or not phased (e.g. 2 stroke). It features real time tuning capabilities and provides logging of engine data.
Just all what professionals need, as standard:
* Full sequential injection
* On-board coil igniters (no extrnal drivers needed)
* On-board wideband lambda controller (closed-loop)
* Compatible with any flywheel trigger disks
* CAN, RS232, USB
Thanks to a modern and professional tuning software, engines are tuned Ontronic tuning software efficiently and in a short period of time, in real time (e.g. emulation mode). The corresponding lambda values are displayed directly on the fuel injection map using a color scale. As a result, the engine can be tuned efficiently, either on dynamometer or on the road. Lambda tuning can also be achieved automatically in closed loop (adaptive control). In this mode, injection timing is recalculated once the certainty associated with the corresponding lambda measurement has reached a sufficient level.
Ontronic gives the user the possibility to calibrate their existing sensors. This allows for a wide range of original sensors to be used by Ontronic, which results in a straight forward installation of the ECU. In addition, Ontronic can be installed on any type of flywheel trigger disk.
